Sometimes I keep thinking that I was born with a pencil in my hand. Haha, yeah, right! Drawing it’s just something I do when I’m trying to get away from everything (or everyone) around me. I’m a perfectionist; I love to do detailed stuff. I keep hearing that I have the skills to copy things, so I guess that’s why I enjoy doing portraits that much. I have in the last year been obsessed with “Monster art” and that in particularly Basil Gogos’ artwork. I love his artwork, he’s amazing. He’s use of colors and energy is stunning. He is truly a big inspiration, especially to me. Anyways, everything in my gallery is drawn by hand and I don’t want bastards like you to copy it, save it or take a screen picture. Thanks!
So, I live with my crazy cat Carlito, which brings me to the fact that I also like to watch wrestling. No kidding. The best sport in the world. I’ve been an addict since I was four. My brother got magazines and tapes in the mail and we’ll sit and watch all day. My favorite wrestler is The Undertaker, because he was in fact the first wrestler I ever saw. You just see his entrance to the ring and you’ll now he’s the real deal. So because of my cat’s furry look when he was a kitten, I named him Carlito, after Carlito Caribbean Cool. Sadly his fur became short when he got bigger, but if you scream out his name, he’s there on a spot, just like a dog.
Just like my friends (that I love more than anything), I’m obsessed with body art; tattoos and piercing. I really want a classic monster sleeve with Frankenstein and his bride, and some other stuff I’m gonna get down on the paper as soon as possible. I haven’t planed that many tattoos actually, I just like to draw them for others. After my brother tattooed Satan eating a heart on his right arm and I got my ears pierced, we got different nicknames around the house that shall not be mentioned. And he did not make the situation any better when he said he was going to add Jesus with an open chest later.
I could actually be your next door neighbour, but you’ll probably never see me because I don’t go to school and the few times I go to work, I get up earlier than you can imagine.
I have a weak heart for those classic black and white monster movies from the thirties and forward. Frankenstein in particularly, played by Boris Karloff, is one of my favorites. So now a days I collect classic monster stuff, everything from posters to action figures. I’m also addicted to “Whose line is it anyways?”. Omg, Drew and the rest of the guys is so fucking funny! I mostly only watch horror movies, if you look away from that fact, "Phantom of the Opera" from 2006 is my favorite movie. My dream house looks like Rob Zombies, so it explains a lot. Check it out on YouTube, folkz! My friend Vicca and I started Team of Horror a couple years ago. What we really do is to spread horror into the streets in Oslo, haha.
I have family all over the US. So I usually spend my summer in Florida, where I honestly just visit to shop until I’m broke, then I’ve be on my knees in front of my mom begging for 10 bucks so I can buy something I’ve forgot. Welcome to my life, where money doesn’t last that long. You’ll find me at Hot Topic, and when I first get into that store, you’re gonna have to drag me out of it. Probably the best store in the world. Also Spencer’s Gift shop has a lot of crazy stuff. I’ve been in Florida 10 summers now, experiencing a lot of crazy things which keeps me coming back. I still want those Metallica and Iron Maiden barstools (they where to heavy to bring home... Faen!!!)
I’ve been trough a lot of shit over the years. Bullied, kicked senseless, threatened on my life, had a rapier after me, lost all my friends and amazingly came back again. So it takes a lot to bring me down to the bottom again, I’ll tell you that. I will not go into details, but there’s people out there going through this every damn day, and it will either break you or make you stronger. If you met me a couple years ago, I’d be a complete different person. I wouldn’t speak my mind but always agree with someone. I’ll be quiet and a straight up coward. But after the years passed I had enough and once I took a stand, they let me be. So now I live as I please, and I love it. Life is beautiful.
